The walk

The Aiguilles Rouges balcony continues to Planpraz, then the path climbs to Col du Brévent and on towards the Brévent summit (2,525 m): the most complete view of Mont Blanc and its glaciers, straight across.

The finish is a long descent of more than 1,400 m through Bellachat and the forest to Les Houches, where the loop closes. Save some legs for this last effort.
